Fruitport Animal Hospital would like to thank you for choosing our practice for your pet's medical needs. Our doctors and staff are committed to providing a comprehensive health program for your pet(s). We strive to provide the best care to each and every one of our patients and in order to do so we also need your assistance. Please read this letter entirely to help your pet have the best visit possible.
Arrival to the Hospital
Upon entering the building all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. For the safety of all pets please close both
If you choose to allow your pets to greet others, please remember that many conditions pets are seen for may be contagious.
The majority of appointments at our office are scheduled for 20-30 minutes so it is important that our clients arrive on time. We completely understand that sometimes things get in the way of people being on time for appointments, but in order to keep our schedule running as smoothly as possible, if a client is 10 minutes late or more, their appointment will need to be rescheduled.
We allow our clients one no-show per year without a charge. After that, each occurrence will result in a $46 charge to the clients' account, to be paid before any further appointments can be scheduled or services rendered.
Appointments may be cancelled provided you call to cancel at least 6 hours prior to your appointment time.
Payment
Payments are due in full at the time of services rendered. We
We require pre-payment of any new reptile or avian exams at least 48 hours before the appointment. If this payment is not made by that time the appointment may be canceled. This policy is in effect because we block off an hour or more of time for the first appointment. And if a client no-shows it is a large chunk of time that we could be seeing other pets.
Refills
If you need a medication refilled, please call our office at least 48 hours in advance. This gives us time for your pet's doctor to approve and refill the medication(s) that are needed. Special orders take 1-2 weeks to arrive so plan ahead if your pet is on a special medication.
Special Food Orders
For those pets that are on a prescription diet: All special food orders need to be placed before 10am on Tuesdays. Royal Canin foods arrive on Thursdays, Purina foods arrive on Fridays, and Hill's arrive Mondays. Please note that Hill's will skip us the week of all Monday holidays. Please remember to order food 2 weeks BEFORE you are out.
Thank you again for choosing Fruitport Animal Hospital. We look forward to seeing you and your pet(s).
